Why Sunrose Learning Hub

At Sunrose Learning Hub we highly value the unique needs, interests, and abilities of each child. Our philosophy is based on hands-on learning, experimentation, and learning through play, while also incorporating a degree of academic learning and environmental sustainability.

We encourage child-led learning, where children are free to follow their own interests and curiosity, with adults acting as facilitators. Our aim is to provide holistic development, promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive growth while placing a high value on diversity.

Our sessions are multi-age play and learning, allowing children of different ages and abilities to work together and learn from one another, fostering a sense of community and collaboration while supporting the development of social skills and confidence. We encourage children to learn from one another’s perspectives and experiences and take safe risks, in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Principles of kindness, compassion, and mindfulness are woven throughout the day.

At Sunrose Learning Hub, we aim to instil a love of learning and curiosity that will last a lifetime, encouraging children to continue exploring and discovering the natural world throughout their lives.
